SALPEC 2017

The 2nd  Sabah Allied Health & Professionals Emergency Conference 2017 (SALPEC 2017) will be held on the 7th  until 9th of March 2017 at Four Points By Sheraton Hotel, Sandakan, Sabah. This conference is organised by the Kelab Rekreasi dan Kebajikan Jabatan Kecemasan dan Trauma Hospital Sandakan  and Emergency & Trauma Department, Duchess of Kent Hospital, Sandakan.

SALPEC has been held in Sandakan Sabah since 2014. SALPEC has been recognized as one of the highly anticipated conference in East Malaysia. The First Allied Health Emergency Conference 2014 was successful with attendance more than 250 delegates across the nation. The conference consist of 2 days pre-conference workshops and one day of main conference.

The main objectives are to provide participants with the importance of basic emergency management and clinically relevant therapy and management of it. The target audiences for this conference are not only for emergency physicians and emergency medicine residents, but also for medical officers, internal medicine specialist, anaesthesia & critical care specialist and last but not least for family medicine specialist. There will be topics tailored for allied medical health personnel and medical students as well.
